OEM-specified oils, correct viscosity grades, quality filtration, and optional oil analysis — CTR provides professional diesel oil service for all engine platforms.
A diesel oil change is more than draining and filling — it's an opportunity to evaluate engine health. CTR uses the correct oil classification (CK-4 or FA-4), the correct viscosity grade, and quality filtration for every engine platform. No shortcuts, no substitutions.
We maintain specifications and procedures for every major diesel engine: Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, International, Volvo. Optional oil analysis provides the most cost-effective diagnostic tool for monitoring engine health and optimizing drain intervals.
Located on Armentrout Drive directly off I-85 at Exit 58. Fleet programs available with volume pricing and scheduled coordination.

Drain and replace engine oil with OEM-specified grade and classification. Replace oil filter(s). Check and top off all fluids. Visual inspection of belts, hoses, leaks, tires. Reset oil life monitor.
Low oil pressure gauge reading or dashboard warning. Stop immediately — continued operation causes catastrophic engine damage.
Indicates coolant contamination — head gasket, EGR cooler, or oil cooler failure. Requires immediate diagnosis.
Excessive soot loading, depleted additives, or internal wear producing metal particles.
Fuel dilution from injector dribble, incomplete combustion, or excessive DPF regen cycles.
Adding oil between changes — worn rings, valve seals, turbo seals, or external leaks.
Oil burning in combustion chambers — rings, valve guides, or turbo seal failure.

All oil services backed by 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
Modern diesel engine oils are precisely engineered to protect components operating under extreme pressure, temperature, and soot loading. The correct specification — API CK-4 or FA-4 — combined with the right viscosity grade is critical for engine longevity.
Backward-compatible with all older engines. Higher HTHS viscosity (3.5 cP min) for maximum wear protection. The default choice for mixed fleets.
Lower HTHS viscosity (2.9–3.2 cP) for fuel savings. ONLY for 2017+ engines designed for it. NOT backward-compatible.
15W-40: traditional all-season (above 10°F). 10W-30: better cold-start, lower fuel consumption. 5W-40: extreme cold. Match to operating conditions.
Measures wear metals, TBN, viscosity, contaminants. Detects problems early. Optimizes drain intervals. $25–$50 per sample — highest ROI diagnostic tool.
